Stephen Lewis’ documentary,
Women: The Face of AIDS
(raises awareness on HIV/AIDS and the
disproportionate vulnerability of women,
followed by a panel discussion on the impact that
HIV has on women’s lives in Canada and across the globe.
Friday, November 30 at 7pm
A Closer Walk (the critically acclaimed film,
highlights the personal stories of persons affected by
HIV/AIDS across the globe. The film provides insight into
the AIDS epidemic in South Africa, Uganda, India and Haiti;
and features interviews by Kofi Annan and Bono.
World AIDS Day Vigil
Saturday December 1 at 7pm
Trinity United Church, 74 Frederick Street
Annual Community Vigil to remember those who
are living with HIV/AIDS.
